A group of 28 students from Jammu and Kashmir currently on a study tour of Mumbai and Delhi called-on the President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan on July 1, 2009. The children expressed their happiness to the President that they were given this opportunity to see the capital of the country as well as the city of Mumbai during the tour organised by the Indian Army under OP SADBHAVANA-2009. The President urged the students to use such tours to enhance their knowledge and to understand how India is a garland of many coloured flowers, which is threaded together by its spirit of national unity. She urged them to study hard, work hard, imbibe good habits and qualities as well as work for the good of their state and the Nation.
