The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan H.E. Mr. Hamid
Karzai met the President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil at
Rashtrapati Bhavan on August 4, 2008. The two leaders strongly
condemned the barbaric attack by terrorists on the Embassy of India in
Kabul last month and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen
bilateral relations. The President later hosted a Banquet in honour of
H.E. Mr. Hamid Karzai and his delegation.
