The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil had an opportunity to meet students of the Army School in Budgam and Shupiyan in Jammu and Kashmir at Rashtrapati Bhavan on November 17, 2009. During her interaction with the children the President said she was happy that the Indian Army has given an opportunity to them to visit some parts of Northern India under Operation Sangam. During the visit the students will be given an glimpse of development activities and famous and historic places in Delhi, Jaipur, Agra and Ajmer. The President said the tour will show them the unity of the people along with their diversity.
