The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil released a Commemorative Postage Stamp on the Founder Editor of the 'Pudhari' newspaper, Dr. G.G. Jadhav at Rashtrapati Bhawan on November 18, 2009. Dr. Jadhav apart from being a journalist was a social activist and participated in the social reform movements in Maharashtra in the 20th Century.
